Sautéed Okra with Bacon and Garlic

A recipe for 4 or 5

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound of fresh okra (preferably smaller pods)
½ cup sliced onion
2 cloves garlic minced
¼ cup cooked bacon pieces
Salt and pepper as needed to taste

Heat the olive oil in a sauté pan then add the okra and onions. Cook for 3-4 minutes and add in the garlic and bacon. Finish with salt and pepper and keep warm for service.
